London Bio Packaging (LBP) was created to have positive effect on the environment and society. Our core aims are:

• To reduce the negative environmental impacts of packaging
• To encourage the use of renewable resources instead of fossil resources
• To provide cost effective ways for our customers to reduce their environmental impact

LBP Triple Bottom Line

1. Environment
LBP reduces negative environmental impacts by supplying:
• Products that can be recycled or composted
• Products with a low carbon emission footprint
• Products made from renewable resources

LBP reduces internal environmental impacts by:
• Waste minimisation and recycling
• Using recycled stationary/ office products
• Offsetting carbon emissions for all internal operations and deliveries
• Providing bicycles for employees to come to work on

2. People
We improve society by:
• Looking after our staff well
• Ensuring equal opportunities within the company
• Ensuring the health and safety of our customers, community and partners
• Checking the welfare of our suppliers employees
• Protecting the environment people live in with our products and services
• Employees doing regeneration work in our local community

We aim to make a robust, profitable and growing business in order to:
• Pay employees fairly
• Produce returns for shareholders
• Be more effective in our environmental and social bottom lines

Scope
The sustainability policy reflects LBP’s aspirations to enhance our own business practices as well as those of broader society. LBP applies this policy in all business operations. LBP aims to develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders to encourage the uptake of sustainable packaging and a renewable economy.

Roles and Responsibilities
Company directors are responsible for incorporating these principles into business planning. All employees are responsible for developing an understanding of how their work functions are affected by this policy.

Review Process
LBP is committed to a process of ongoing review and continual improvement of sustainability. This policy is reviewed annually in order to make continual improvements in all three bottom lines.
