LBP Launches Closed Loop Composting

LBP has developed the UK’s first Closed Loop Composting process: nature’s way of recycling. LBP IS currently offering free trials for customers in central London. London Bio Packaging is a member of the Association for Organics Recycling (was the Composting Association).
LBP’s Closed Loop Composting is a ‘zero waste’ process:

1. We provide compostable packaging made from renewable plant resources

2. After use the packaging is collected and composted 

3. The compost is returned to fields to nourish more plants (which can be used to make more packaging)

LBP works with customers to ensure all packaging is compostable, puts in the correct bins and information to collect the pure compostable waste stream, collects the compostable waste on a regular basis and takes it to a commercial composting facility. Materials like bio-plastics will compost in six to eight weeks in a compost facility. For further information or to take place in a Closed Loop Composting trial please call LBP.
