LBP takes part in feeding the 5000

LBP proudly took part in a huge event in Trafalgar Square on the 16th of December to highlight just how much good food is wasted in the UK.
 
We provided our bio plastic cups, which are 100% biodegradable so that 5,000 people can drink smoothies made from donated food that would otherwise have ended up in landfill.
 
Bruised bananas, wonky carrots, not so good looking potatoes and apples that are 2mm too big for supermarkets are just some of the ingredients that were served up in dishes and blended into drinks on the 16th of December to 5,000 hungry and thirsty members of the public.
